Toft Dairy is hiring an entry level worker for a line operator position in our Ice Cream Department. This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday, 6 AM to approx. 2 PM. The ideal candidate must have a strong work ethic and value commitment to punctuality and attendance. They must be able to learn the operation of various machinery used for ice cream production and the tasks associated with the process. Tasks include (not limited to) the day-to-day responsibilities for ice cream production and equipment preparation, cleaning, and sanitizing in accordance with FISMA compliance guidelines, standards and procedures in food safety and overall general safety.

Responsibilities:

• Equipment/Machine Operation to include set up, monitoring, disassembling and cleaning
• Daily cleaning, rinsing and sanitizing production work area
• Lifting up to 50 lbs. several times per day in accordance with milk production
• Perform additional job tasks as assigned
• Stock ingredients and occasionally unload trucks
• Production machine-paced work environment

Skills and Abilities:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Motor skills to include push, pull, reach and grasp throughout the day
• Simple math skills
• Read written instructions/Follow and carry out communicated tasks
• Strong attention to detail
• Outstanding work ethic
• Reliable and responsible attendance, alert and attentive, timely and punctual individual
• Forklift certification or tow motor skills required
