Warehouse Loader / Yard Driver (No CDL Required)

Want a hands-on job where you stay active and get behind the wheel? Toft Dairy is hiring a Warehouse Loader / Yard Driver (Jockey) to help load product and position trucks for delivery-no CDL required.

Schedule: Approximately 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM (until work is complete)
Location: 3717 Venice Rd, Sandusky, OH
Position Type: Full-Time

What You'll Do

• Pick and prepare customer orders with a high level of accuracy
• Verify all product counts on order sheet before loading
• Load delivery trucks efficiently and accurately
• Move and back trucks/trailers into loading docks (yard driving only – no road driving required)
• Pick-order products from refrigerated warehouse and storage area to delivery trucks
• Rotate product using FIFO (First In, First Out)
• Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dock/warehouse
• Follow all safety and food safety standards

What the Job Is Like

This is a fast-paced, physical role in a refrigerated environment. You'll be on your feet, staying active, and working with a team to keep operations running smoothly.

• Cold/wet storage environment (must bring your own cold-weather gear)
• Lift 50 lbs. regularly (up to 75 lbs. with assistance)
• Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting
• Use of manual equipment like pallet jacks and hand trucks

What We're Looking For

• Reliable and punctual - strong attendance is a must
• Solid work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable in a physically demanding role

Preferred (but not required):

• Warehouse or order picking experience
• Experience backing up box trucks, straight trucks, or semi-trailers
• Forklift experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
